Travel Itinerary

Day 1 - Airport → Kandy

  • Welcome at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) by your driver.

  • Drive directly to Kandy (approx. 3-4 hours). (Optional) En route, visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.

  • Check into your Kandy hotel. In the evening, visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and watch a Kandyan Cultural Dance Show.

  • Overnight in Kandy.

Day 2 - Kandy → Bentota

  • After breakfast, (Optional) visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens.

  • Begin the scenic drive down to the south coast (approx. 4-5 hours).

  • Arrive in Bentota, check into your beach hotel, and relax by the ocean.

  • Overnight in Bentota.

Day 3 - Bentota → Colombo

    • Morning: Enjoy a Madu River boat safari through mangrove forests or visit a Sea Turtle Hatchery.

    • Drive to Colombo (approx. 2 hours). En route, stop to explore the Galle Dutch Fort (UNESCO World Heritage Site).

    • Check into your Colombo hotel and enjoy an evening city tour (Galle Face Green, Independence Square).

    • Overnight in Colombo.

Day 4 - Colombo → Airport

  • Depending on your flight time, enjoy some last-minute shopping.

  • Transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) for your departure.
