Travel Itinerary

Day 1 - Airport → Colombo

  • Welcome at CMB. Transfer to your hotel in Colombo.

  • In the afternoon, enjoy a city tour of Colombo. Visit Galle Face Green, the bustling Pettah markets, Independence Square, and a modern shopping mall.

  • Overnight in Colombo.

Day 2 - Colombo → Nilaveli (East Coast)

  • An early start for the long drive to the East Coast (approx. 6-7 hours).

  • Arrive in Nilaveli (near Trincomalee).

  • Check into your beach hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing on the beautiful beach.

  • Overnight in Nilaweli.

Day 3 - Nilaveli (Relaxation)

  • Full day to relax, swim, and enjoy the sun.

  • (Optional): Take a morning boat trip to Pigeon Island National Park for snorkeling (Best between May-Sep).

  • (Optional) Visit the Koneswaram Temple in Trincomalee.

  • Overnight in Nilaweli.

Day 4 - Nilaweli → Sigiriya

  • Enjoy a final morning on the beach.

  • Drive to Sigiriya (approx. 2 hours).

  • Check into your hotel. In the late afternoon, climb the magnificent Sigiriya Rock Fortress for sunset views.

  • Overnight in Sigiriya.

Day - 5

  • After breakfast, begin the drive to the airport (approx. 3-4 hours).

  • (Optional) If time permits, visit the Dambulla Cave Temple (UNESCO site) on the way.

  • Transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) for your departure.
